Benefits of participating at the Disability Expo

If you work with people with disability or provide relevant services or products, this Expo will provide a unique opportunity to be seen as an active participant in the community.

Many attendees will use the Expo to inform their decisions about services and product options. You will be able to present your services innovatively – and interact directly with your target audience.

Participation gives you:

Direct access to consumers in an environment where people are seeking products and services like yours.

An effective venue to show case your product or service to the right audience.

Inclusion in an event that celebrates the many achievements and aspirations of people with disability to the wider community.

An opportunity to be identified with other organisations who genuinely seek improved consumer outcomes.

An opportunity for casual interaction with consumer leaders, advocates and high-achievers.

Direct input into the decision making process for greater choice and control.

Limited: Exhibitor ‘Speaking Slots’ available:

  • We are currently planning ‘Exhibitor Talks’ where ‘on the hour’ one of our exhibitors will give a presentation for 10 minutes (from a small cordoned off area).

The attending audience will receive a raffle ticket when entering the area.

There will be a raffle prize given out at the end of the presentation (from those who stayed for the duration of the talk).

The only additional cost associated with this will be a small prize for the raffle following the allocated speaking time slot.

    Please email events@speakoutadvocacy.org
if you would like to take part in this opportunity.

SENSORY HOUR:

  • We’re proud to offer a dedicated Sensory Hour to ensure a calm, comfortable experience for individuals who benefit from a lower-sensory environment.

    Time: 3.30 to 4.30

    During this hour, we will:

Lower noise levels (no loudspeakers or announcements)

    Dim bright lighting

    Limit crowds to reduce overstimulation

This time is specially designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities, including those with autism, PTSD, or sensory processing disorders.
